Dear Colleague,

As promised we have returned after a short break to bring you another excellent programme for the Summer Term of 2010!

As always we have tried to respond to your concerns in General Practice and provide education which will address areas of interest and concern, which will benefit patients and be both entertaining and empowering. I’m sure you’ll agree!

Sponsorship from the pharmaceutical companies for our meetings has declined markedly over the last few years with the general economic climate and putting together a good programme has been quite challenging. Nevertheless our 6 lunchtime meetings would grace any educational programme – anywhere - with updates on Sleep, Pain and Diabetes. We also have an update on Surgical techniques and patient options and an exciting talk on memory improvement by a top public speaker and ‘Memory Man’!

Thanks again for all your wonderful support of post-graduate education over the last 16 years; whether or not this will be our last term depends so much on attendances and your support, so spread the word, rally the troops  and vote with your feet!
